SUMMARY:The TechIreland National AI Challenge 2026
DESCRIPTION:AIM Centre has opened registrations for the TechIreland National AI Challenge 2026\, returning as an official hub partner for this year’s national programme. \n\n\n\nThe challenge is designed for a wide mix of participants across Ireland. You do not need to be an AI expert to take part. According to the organisers\, participants can join with an idea and be paired with technical team members\, or join with technical skills and help bring someone else’s idea to life. \n\n\n\nThat is part of what makes the National AI Challenge 2026 stand out. \n\n\n\nThe programme brings together developers\, innovators\, founders and AI enthusiasts to work on real-world challenges over a two-week remote build period. Teams then present their projects at local demo days\, with finalists progressing to the TechIreland National AI Meet 2026 in Galway. \n\n\n\nThis year’s theme is AI & Agents: Strategy\, Processes and Roles. \n\n\n\nFor the AIM Centre community\, the key dates are: \n\n\n\n\nRegistrations Open: 20 July 2026\n\n\n\nKickoff Webinar: 12 August 2026\n\n\n\nChallenge Begins: 28 August 2026\n\n\n\nDemo Day: 14 September 2026 at AIM Centre\n\n\n\nTechIreland National AI Meet 2026: 24 September 2026 in Galway\n\n\n\n\nThe wider programme is coordinated by TechIreland in partnership with Enterprise Ireland and the European Digital Innovation Hubs Network\, and is supported by innovation hubs and ecosystem partners across the country. \n\n\n\nAt AI Dubliners\, we see this as an important ecosystem signal. \n\n\n\nBecause some of the most interesting AI ideas do not begin inside large companies. They begin when people with different skills\, different backgrounds and one strong idea are brought into the same room and given the chance to build. \n\n\n\nSearches:TechIreland LinkedIn post on the National AI Challenge 2026 \n\n\n\nRDI Hub announcement as Hub Partner

SUMMARY:AI GTM Lab Dublin: Practical AI Applications in Sales and Marketing
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence is often described as a technology that will transform sales and marketing. However\, it is not always easy to see how companies are actually using AI in their daily workflows. \n\n\n\nAI GTM Lab aims to focus on practical systems and real experiences\, rather than vendor pitches or broad predictions. \n\n\n\nWhat is AI GTM Lab Dublin?\n\n\n\nOrganised by Pitstop\, the event will take place at Ashton’s in Dublin from 5pm to 9pm on Wednesday\, 2 September 2026. \n\n\n\nFollowing the Practical AI for GTM event held in May\, this second gathering will feature seven short talks. \n\n\n\nGTM\, or “go-to-market”\, describes how a company brings its product to market by connecting sales\, marketing\, customer acquisition and growth. \n\n\n\nThe speakers will explore how AI is being used across these processes\, the systems they are developing and what they are learning from their work. \n\n\n\nWho will speak at AI GTM Lab?\n\n\n\nThe confirmed speakers are: \n\n\n\n\nEmmett Kilduff\n\n\n\nSarah McDevitt\n\n\n\nMark Colgan\n\n\n\nJames Flynn\n\n\n\nScott Sampson\n\n\n\nKevin Foley\n\n\n\nRichie Choudhary\n\n\n\n\nOne practical example will come from Mark Colgan\, who will discuss an account-prioritisation dashboard designed to replace multiple open tabs and hours of manual company research. The system helps sales teams identify and focus on the right accounts. \n\n\n\nSarah McDevitt will explore why human judgement\, creativity\, empathy and trust become even more important as AI makes GTM processes faster. \n\n\n\nWhat happens after the talks?\n\n\n\nThe seven short talks will be followed by a panel discussion. The evening will continue with canapés\, drinks and an opportunity to network with GTM leaders. \n\n\n\nI previously featured Coso.ai on AI Dubliners\, so seeing its co-founder James Flynn among the speakers is particularly interesting. His participation also highlights the connection between AI products being developed in Ireland and their practical applications across sales and marketing. \n\n\n\nFor those interested in using AI as part of real sales and growth workflows\, AI GTM Lab offers an opportunity to hear directly from people developing and applying these systems. \n\n\n\nRegistration and current ticket information are available on the AI GTM Lab Eventbrite page.
