By now, most people have probably heard that OpenAI is significantly expanding its presence in Dublin. We still wanted to share it because this is not just an important milestone for OpenAI. It is also an important signal for Ireland’s AI ecosystem.
The company is moving its European Union headquarters to a larger office in Dublin and plans to grow its local team from just over 100 employees to around 350.
Over the next two years, approximately 250 new roles are expected to be created. These positions will not be limited to engineering. Opportunities are also expected across sales, user operations, human resources, finance, privacy, legal, and other corporate functions.
It is a timely reminder that you do not have to be an AI engineer to build a career in artificial intelligence.
